Challenge
The modern educational system, despite all of its benefits, has a long list of correctable flaws that must be addressed moving into a modern world. In a technologically driven society which is growing and evolving regularly and rapidly, we believe humans should, at the very least, be afforded with the ability to pursue their academic passions without obstacles and deterrents.
Humanity has taken a small step in the direction of modernizing education, but the progress we have made is primitive compared to what can be achieved with modern means. The current teaching methods do not, for example, offer immersion on the level that a video game can. Similarly, universities and colleges are localized which limits how many people they can serve. These shortcomings, as well as many others, can be remedied with a specialized virtual learning system.
Objective
The goal of this campaign is to crowdfund an innovative, modern, large-scale educational system featuring fully accredited coursework. Once the base system is developed, we will work towards developing the technology to make this system widely distributable and free for everyone to use.
A system such as this must be many things: robust, secure, expandable, and most importantly… free. The task is monumental, but we’ve had plenty of time to consider solutions. We will approach this large-scale project in a piece-wise manner, building it out one compartmentalized system at a time.

Summary
The goal of this long-term campaign is to make high-quality education available to everyone for free. Globally and beyond. We have good reason to believe this is not only possible to do, but possible to do right now. A project of this scale will require many entities to support it, and so we turn to each of you.

This campaign, specifically, is the reason we created the entire [dephoro] Network. If we could pick a single thing to make life better for every human who follows after us, making quality education a human birthright would be our choice. Without hesitation. Furthermore, we want to ensure that it remains free and accessible to anyone who wishes to use it indefinitely, while being built upon and maintained collectively. This is for all of us.
